THE FOOD EDIT.

I appreciate that you come here to appreciate the way Lagosians appreciate the need to be stylish. On the streets.

Having said that, I also have to let you know I appreciate good eats.

I'm working my way up to being a #Whole30 or #FitFam or #TeamHealthyEating real life activist. In the meantime, I indulge in treats when out and about in my city.

Club sandwiches are my thing. They're available on a menu in pretty much every country I've been to (yes, all 9 of them....I'm also not yet a pro #TeamWanderlust...but again working my way up) and they're quick and they're divine.

Which brings me to the clubbie I had recently at THE LILY GATE HOTEL. Dear Lord!

That sandwich was like a slice of toasted bread, bacon, tomato, egg and lettuce heaven. It was delicious and beyond satisfying.
Typically I like my crusts taken off but for this one, I ignored my inclination.

Go taste for yourself.

And now, here's my other discovery. MICO'S HOUSE OF CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. This place will result in a love affair. My heart has walked. The waffles got me.
And that's all I will say on the subject.

Cheers!
