BUY NIGERIAN - TWENTY SIX CO.

As you may have noticed, I'm completely passionate about #BuyNigerian and when I find buzz worthy brands flying the flag for home-made, qualitative and affordable goods (or services even), I will sound the alarm.

Ordered this dress off a photo I saw on the Twenty-Six website and when it came, I was not disappointed.

Cute packaging (Caveat: it didn't come with the Teddy...that was simply where I dropped the parcel after it arrived, and I thought to leave it as a backdrop) and a pretty on-trend dress, all for N4,500!

That's $13 in today's money.

The exchange rate being what it is, the Nigerian economy not being what it's supposed to be, please tell me in not less than 250 words on A4 paper why you wouldn't go on and get yourself this dress.

This isn't a sponsored post by the way...because when I love a thing, I love a thing.

Feel free to support the #BuyNigerian movement and order HERE and I hope you like it as much as I do.

Cheers.

CHILL.

I work in the oil and gas industry.

We are VERY fussy about health and safety of the workforce, hence it's mandatory to conduct an annual medical with an attendant fitness certificate or please do not bother to show up in the office.

My 2016 medical exam was yesterday and my doctor says in amusement that I'm too unbothered because apparently my blood pressure is rather low, my pulse is acting lazy and my heart beat is behaving like it's in energy saving mode.

He's used to advising majority of his patients to take life easy due to dangerously high levels of blood pressure.
I can only imagine.

This country can be stress, I tell you. Sometimes just getting through the day is a performance art in itself.

But here's the thing.

It's actually possible to decide to be happy. And no one told me till a few years ago.
Since then, I have made a conscious decision to wake up every darn day in a good mood. It works people!
Try it or your money back.

So anyway, I might try to find some wild party to pump this heart of mine this weekend.

Or I might be "chill".

Like my style subject.

Have a good one.

DANIEL WELLINGTON.

Well Daniel Wellington, the watchmaker, did a lovely thing and sent me a watch.

I can't imagine what I did to deserve such a gesture but all I can say is THANK YOU Dan (I mean it makes sense for us to be on first name basis since you're sending me gifts?)

I received the watch and firstly the packaging was smile worthy, you know the type of box that lets you know it's  going to be delightful on the inside. And I was not wrong.

Best part is, DW  is giving my followers (they cater to ladies and gents by the way) 15% off their purchases using the discount code "lagosDW" at check out. Code lasts till 30th July 2016 so hurry off and click www.danielwellington.com to grab a swanky watch like mine.

Thank you again Danny ;)

Cheers.
