I'm currently covering street style at Ghana Fashion & Design Week and completely enjoying the beauty of the surroundings of my hotel, The Labadi Beach Hotel. I've stayed here before with my family in 2014. Doesn't change the refreshing pleasantness you feel once you step in. Pure bliss here, I tell you.
Luckily, GFDW is also happening here as well, and it's my first time coming for this. I have to say the first day was rather low key, and there weren't very many attendees for me to photograph, however I did spot some I could happily engage with.
Here was my first style subject, Alexandra.
Her heritage is half Japanese and half Ghanaian. I skimmed through her Instagram account and quite like the fact that her style choices don't strictly latch on to a specific identity. Fluidity all around.
