TRENDS.

I've heard people bemoan "trends" that they say "just won't go away".

An argument may be that they don't go away because they speak complete ease and comfort to the people, and as such they no longer represent mere trends, but actual necessities?

The "cold shoulder" trend in this hot country...a necessity.
