Listen, Lagos has soul!
Do not let anybody tell you otherwise.
Last night, my girl Tomiiwa invited us to watch her perform at the TARUWA event at the quaint and unapologetically African Bogobiri Hotel in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Bogobiri website describes TARUWA as a night "which offers a platform for new talent in "spoken word" and music to the weekend High Life, Jazz and Afrobeat shows by more established performers."
Oh c'mon Bogo, out with the modesty! You and I both know it's way more than that!
The vibe, the laughs, the spoken word, the rhythm, the poetry, the food, the music, the audience, the vibe...the VIBE!
And let's not forget the style...
Last Tuesday of every month.
Go.
Ahaa, its nice dialogue about this article here at this website, I hafe read all that, so now me also commenting here.

Hello there! Quick question that's completely off topic.
ReplyDeleteDo you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My website looks weird when browsing from my apple iphone.
I'm trying to find a theme or plugin that might be
able to fix this issue. If you have any suggestions,
please share. Thank you!
