Time was when I binged on episodes of Downton Abbey, and once Lady Grantham came on my screen, I perked up.
I knew I was about to hear memorable, witty and sometimes sarcastic quotes from the Queen of Mean herself.
There was an episode where she told her granddaughter:
"I'm not a romantic, but even I concede that the heart does not exist solely for the purpose to pump blood..."
Loved it. Memorized it.
And when I shoot street style, I'm reminded of it. In a variant:
"I'm not a stylist, but even I concede that clothes do not exist solely for the purpose to cover nudity..."
